Urbandale Farm Birthday Festival: Join us as we celebrate our fourth year of farming! Enjoy cake, refreshments, and a tour of the farm. Check out our summer plantings as well as a few new changes. Fresh produce from the farm will be on sale at the Urbandale Farm Stand. Saturday, June 1st, 2013. Noon-2pm.
Tomato Festival: Join us as we celebrate the abundant harvest of mid-summer, and our favorite farm fruit! We’ll have a tomato tasting of several different varieties of tomatoes, fried green tomatoes, recipes and tomato lore, and a tomato photo opp that you won’t want to miss. Chat with neighbors and tour the farm. Fresh produce from the farm will be on sale at the Urbandale Farm Stand. Saturday, September 7th, 2013. Noon-2pm.
Halloween Celebration and Farm Olympics (for Urbandale residents): Join us for pumpkin decorating, sack races, apple bobbing on a string, and treats. Costumes encouraged! Saturday, October 26th, 2013. 2-4pm.
