Enjoying May

The Urbandale Farm Apprenticeship Program started mid-April, and the apprentices have been busy caring for our transplants in the Garden House.

As well as taking advantage of the recent warm weather to plant early spring crops such as salad mix, radishes, turnips, beets, cabbage, and collards.  We’re all looking forward to the first markets in early June!

We’ve been keeping very detailed records this year in order to learn what works best at our particular urban farm.
