MSU’s Ecological Food and Farm Stewardship Club would like to invite you to attend a film screening we are holding on April 10th– Growing Cities: A Film about Urban Farming in America.
About the Film
Growing Cities is a documentary film that examines the role of urban farming in America and asks how much power it has to revitalize neighborhoods and change the way we eat. You can learn more about the film and check out a great trailer here! Prior to the film, we will here from Lansing’s own Urbandale Farm manager and co-director about their experiences in urban farming. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The screening will be held on April 10th in room 112 of Brody Hall located on 241 Brody Service Rd (on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Harrison), East Lansing. Doors open at 6pm, program starts at 6:30. This event is open to the public and we ask that you might pass this along to others who might be interested!
